The Huntress shows a shot of a woman sitting on the floor with a rather large slingshot between her feet. In the foreground of the image one can see cherries: in respectively 5 still shots, the woman takes a cherry, loads it in the slingshot. The shot in the direction of the viewer takes place in darkness, that is, the shot dissolves the image. The image comes back again when the woman again reloads with the next cherry and takes aim again. The video installation is to be shown in a completely dark, black room. Every shot leaves the viewer behind in a nothingness of space.
This installation is a kind of counter-part to Cherry Test.
