Rhythmic, repetition and monotone movements are structural elements of Miriam Bajtala’s 170 cm, in which Bajtala the protagonist of the film dedicates herself to „hopping," an activity which is associated with audible physical exertion. The camera view of the video 170 cm is taken from exactly this height, namely the size of the artist. The protagonist is thus only visible jumping while in the air. Through the physical exertion of hopping, the bodily deterioration is made evident.
